This Ability is not rolled. It is used as a modifier for other rolls.
Theodore has Dyslexia=5, and Reading=4. He is cleaning out a friend’s house after that friend’s death and comes across an expensive-looking book. He tries to read the cover, to determine the book’s contents. He rolls 9 dice (4 for Reading + 5 penalty dice for Dyslexia. Unfortunately, he gets no Successes, so he can’t understand what is written on the book. Looks like Theodore will need to get some help with this one.
