Language Talent

Cost:	5 CP/level
Description:	You are able to pick up and translate languages easily.
Gameplay:	Each level adds 1 cost-free bonus level to any language-related Skill roll.

This Ability is not rolled. It is used as a modifier for other rolls.

Desmond decides he wants to learn Greek. He has Language Talent=3, so he picks up the first three levels with little effort and no CP cost, only a time investment. As he continues to study, he pays 1 CP the fourth level, 2 CP for the fifth, etc. Eventually, after expending a total of 10 CP, he has mastered 4 additional levels of Greek, for a total of 7 levels. He can therefore read Greek at the same level as a native Greek high school graduate. For more information on language levels, see the Language Skills page.
