Pacifism

Cost: -5 CP/level
Description: You dislike aggressive behavior. You will not initiate it and will usually refuse to participate in it.
Gameplay: For you to participate in any violent action you must make a Will roll (TN=3 or 4) and get more Ss than you have levels of Pacifism. If you are directly attacked use TN=3, otherwise use TN=4.

Common situational modifiers that can add or subtract levels to overcome your Pacifism:

  • Personal feelings about the aggressors or the victims
  • Level of aggressive behavior

Brother Micheal has Pacifism =4 and Will=6. One day he is walking down the street and sees to men beating up another. Micheal knows the victim, but because he doesn't really know the man well, and because there are no weapons involved, the GM assigns no level modifiers. Micheal rolls 6 dice for Will and gets 3 Ss. He did not achieve enough Ss to join the actual fight, but that won't stop him from fetching the constables.
