Description: Your body is more resistant than average to the ravages of foreign substances.
Gameplay: For each level, add 1 bonus level to your Con roll (TN=4) when trying to resist the effects of poisons, venoms, and toxins.

Common situational modifiers that can add or subtract levels to resist a poison:

  • Level of toxicity
  • Previous exposure

Juliette has Con=6 and Poison Resistance=3. One day, she's bitten by a venomous snake, one the GM has determined is toxic enough to warrant 2 penalty dice on the victim's Con roll. So Juliette rolls 11 dice (6 dice for Con + 3 dice for Poison Resistance + 2 penalty dice for situational modifiers), and winds up with 6 Ss. The snake's venom fails to kill her.
