Spirits of Man are tied to man-made buildings. There are three main types: the spirits of a home (hearth spirits); the spirit of the agricultural field and pastures (field spirits); and the spirit of a city (City Spirit). Like other spirits their personalities are tied to their surroundings. Unique to them, they are tied to the emotions of the people in those domains. Typically, they are happy to help people and keep them safe, but in areas of pain and agony, like dungeons, the hearth spirits delight in tormenting people. Spirits of man often appear in the form of small humans and are often confused for faeries and brownies.
